Welcome Matthew. Grab a sports bra and join your new team mates.

Most of the feedback I've seen is that Blades fans are disappointed he's off and think he'll comfortably make the step up. If they think he's better than Naughton this would support that as he's easily PL standard.
He isnt just a right back but can play across the back and in midfield. He sounds like a Jagielka type to me. How many wish we'd have taken him sooner?

But this isnt a signing meant to excite anyone and it will be judged in hindsight.

Good to see we're signing a right back. Bad news for Lichaj though. I hope it's Hutton who is sold and not him.

I would see this as Hutton exiting, and Lambert saying to Lichaj and Lowton, fight for your place. Great news IMO.

Hopefully. We're getting the really shaky areas of our team sorted with a minimum of fuss and budget(especially if we resign Guzan). That'll hopefully leave some money for an 'exciting' creative player.

By all acounts, we may well be getting that exciting creative player for £2.5m (or thereabouts) in the form of Brahmi.

Good stuff, I just wonder whether we have a significant fee earmarked for elsewhere.

It's not Valon Behrami Lambert is looking at, it's Yacine Brahimi

I like the way Lambo is going about things, no drawn out gossip, just quietly and efficiently getting the job done. The first we hear of signings is when they are done!
We have been crying out for a manager to take calculated gambles with younger/unknown players instead of overpaid, has-beens.
I like things so far!!

Most transfers since Randy took over seem to be like that - done on the quiet and it only breaks a few days before it's all finalised.
