Suppose people all deal with things differently, but sounds like the support he's received is very much appreciated.

Anyway, just going to take some Piriton. Bloody hay fever.

Who goes up with Collins to see him at the end of the video?

Is it Lichaj?

Get well soon Stan and happy birthday. Hope to see you back in the shirt soon!

On a slightly different tangent, does anyone else think it is pretty shocking of the club that only the season ticket holders signed up to the website can see the full interview with Stan?
New signing interviews, manager interviews and so on, I can understand, but EVERYONE is supporting Stan, including fans of other clubs I feel EVERYONE should be able to see his interview to help raise awareness and help support Stan further.

Great to see Stan on his birthday, he does look pretty well, though the signs of his treatment are obvious, his hair being cropped short (having had radiotherapy when your hair starts falling out it's not nice and having your head shaved does feel much better) but was lovely to hear the team and staff sing him happy birthday. I know he'll beat this, he's villa, I used the villa to help me get through 6 weeks of radiotherapy, and i'm sure having the support of everyone involved in our great club backing him will help Stan through the treatment he's had/having.

I wish alot more/the whole squad would have done to be honest. Still touching though.

Keep fighting, Stan.

I was thinking that and also thought they should have stood up to sing.....however, we don't know the context.   He could have been around for a couple of hours prior to this and they all did their bit then.   This was just a birthday cake presentation at lunch time possibly?

Let's not scrutinze 90 seconds of film and assume we know everything about the day. Stan is really well liked at the club so I'm sure all of the players that know him well played their part in a nice day for him, and have given him a lot of support since his illness was diagnosed.
