Meh. Too defensive. Withe nearly missed that chance. What were they doing starting a keeper carrying an injury? We need Ellis back etc

Thank fuck Greg Nash hasn't been invented yet.

Withe is a trier, but if we'd kept Andy Gray we'd have offered far more of a goal threat.

I like the look of Spink though, he could go on to be as good as Lev Yashin.

I can see many more European Cups and League titles in the near future.  ;)

Now is the time to institute a 5 year plan.
Just think where we could be by May 1987.

This is all a bit gut-wrenchingly twee.
Yes, the cup presentation was lacking. I suggest a podium on the pitch and king-sized party poppers in team colours synchronised with John Terry holding the trophy aloft. Oh and they could play "We are the Champions".

It's gonna be hard to get back down to revision for that A-level I have to sit tomorrow morning.

A fanatstic achievment by our players.  Even though I'm only 15 months old, I can tell how important this is.

Wow what a result, I probably won't be able to sleep well tonight reliving it all, and I've got double maths in the morning!

I like it here, Villa are the European Champions, got a new Clash album to look forward to and there are rumours of a big announcement from Weller about The Jam, must be a new album and tour.
Just heard some kid called Greg on a phone in having a go at how Villa played in the final and reckoning some kid in the playground told him the club are about to be bought by a millionaire travel agent which will see the club dominating football for the next 20 years. Reckon he's a Bluenose.
