If OGS has said no, and Lambert wasn't interested, where on earth would we look?

Rodgers isn't going to leave Swansea, Martinez will go to Liverpool if offered, so who does that leave us with?

Ok, digested it and it occurs to me Randy isn't promising to put his hands in his pockets very much. It looks bleak.

Hopefully this really is about his family and not about the sort of funding Randy has told him he'd get (ie not a lot). That really would drop us in the shit.

Oh my.

Seems Røkke is quite the persuasive fella.
Also, quite astute by all accounts - any chance he could by the Villa

Hughton....

Wouldn't it be funny to nick him off Blose and Ollbeyun all in one swoop.

I can see it being Simon Grayson. There's been no approach made for Lambert according to some ITK's on this site, not sure who else there is out there.

But were they the same ITK's that said OGS was as good as here?

Sad time again for us Villains. A managerial nobody turns us down. I really do hope Randy and co have a plan otherwise it's going to just like the last two manager chases embarrassing.
I didn't want him but still gutted that he has turned us down.

Why did we let ourselves get carried away?

Back down to earth with a crash when we should be just glad to have anybody other than McLeish.

I'm hoping we get Lambert now. Neither RDM or Martinez enthuse me. RDM showing up at Villa Park after a season of struggle would be a very different scenario to RDM showing up at an underachieving Chelsea squad he was intimately acquainted with and just needed to be the anti-AVB to succeed.

I hope we aren't blinded by his CL win with a Chelsea squad full of egos that just wanted to do it their way and not the AVB way.
