I am amazed at how much coverage this is getting in the Norwegian media.

Is OGS some kind of national megastar over there?

Well, yes. And they have a very energetic popular press, and a country where not much happens.

A certain Mr Breivik would beg to differ.

Perhaps this could be the last Breivik joke

I've got a horrible feeling we're going to end up with egg on our faces & Martinez in the chair

I still don't think would be a terrible outcome.

Same here.  I can understand everyones excitement but I think we shouldnt dismiss other suitable candidates.

Nice to see some common sense. If he  comes OK if not  Paul Lambert will be there.

I don't think anybody has said that it has to be Solskjaer at all costs and that nobody else will do, have they?

I think Villa will be very careful with this appointment. They will be careful about any offers that are made so they don't end up burning their bridges with another possible candidate. For example if they were turned down by their first choice for the job....

I believe that Anders Breivik richly deserves ridicule. If we take him at face value, he wins.

No matter how I try to word that it just doesn't seem right, I hope you get my point??? I think last time we were maybe turned down by candidates as they didn't want to be second best.

According to VG (Norwegian newspaper) Ole arrived in Oslo with his wife and his agent.

News Reporter from Norway on SSN earlier, apparently press conference to take place later.

Will his wife be on the bench if he becomes our manager? At least she can cut the oranges up at half time.

She can give Barry Bannan a big hug if he gets subbed, and help him put his coat on.

Solskjaer seems to have said a lot so far (all the right things mind you) his club seems to be unhappy. The Norweign press
are having a big say and why not he is a big star in that country. But if it was going to be done shouldnt it have happened by now? Just in case say Liverpool or even West Brom stick their noses in.

You may have noticed Paul Lambert has said absolutely nothing. His club have said more or less nothing. Villa have said nothing.

Guess who the new managers going to be.

Solksjaer would have been kept quiet if the plane hadnt been rumbled- once the cat was out the bag no way they could deny it- it wasnt molde, ole or villas choice that it became public.
