I really hope they get Martinez, the entertainment value as they go into meltdown would be totally unmissable
It would be hilarious.
Most other fans would accept they've slipped down the pecking order and need to rebuild with a young manager, which is pretty much exactly what we're doing with (hopefully!) Ole. Yet they are so self obsessed and delusional to think just the name 'Liverpool' makes others as weak at the knees as it does them.
Hodgson would have done well for them, but was hounded out by fans who thought he wasn't good enough for them, despite where they had finished or what funds they had. Martinez will be the same.
