We have to wait until after 28/5 to have it confirmed?!

Fuckin 'ell!!!

No

It would be announced before, but he'd take up the job from that date. Pretty sure it was Jan Aage Fjortoft who said his money was on that, as Molde have two games before their mid season break, and the 28th is the last.

MYSTERY MAN Just posted this on VT

Was at VP yesterday for Sunday lunch noticed Norwegian TV filming there not sure that means he is coming or not .

I think by Friday we should know who it is and it's out of 3 people the positive thing is I think the fans will give whoever time and a chance without the pressure of being top 6 .
Following ONeil was always going to be difficult 6th and less cash with a tired squad then season after arguably our 2 best players leave it was even worse ? Then we stay up by the skin of our pants god awful football same old wankers playing up so new bloke can come in clear the dead wood out build a platform . We only need to finish mid table and be a bit more positive and it will bed him for a challenge season after .
Whilst it's frustrating because we want somebody in now and I would ike OGS I think it's right that they take their time interview the candidates and make sure we do get the right person this time .

Wow.  Thank christ for Mysteryman and his insights.

His posts are so hard to read. Has he ever heard of full stops and commas?

It also takes pressure off Ole, who can then see out the Molde job until 28/05, which I think was always the idea.

Another week! We'll all have heart failure by then...

I know MysteryMan posts in good faith, but that quoted post above doesn't really say a lot, does it?

So, how soon do we get pissed of with every article referring to him as 'former Manchester Utd striker'?
It sounds a lot better than "former Birmingham City manager".

Has anyone said Bob Bradley yet?
Bob Bradley? No, I haven't.

Ian Taylor on TS at the moment is certainly giving the impression it's nailed on for OGS

Interestingly he also said John Gregory was interested in the job and had apparently made enquiries

There is a massive disparity between his information posts (usually reliable) and his opinion posts (best avoided).

Fjortoft was on earlier saying the he is 100% sure OGS will take the job if he is offered it.  Also said that in his opinion, OGS would be Villa manager by June 1st.

i just believe what we are hearing from the club insiders and what OGS has said,

that they have not offered the job to anyone yet, are going through there interview process then they will make a decision, i think it will be offered to OGS, but we dont know who the other suspects are, and we are not party to what they say, so someone might well be very impressive, but we cant see that.

its just a case of trusting in Randy, which i do, but obviously with the reserve of knowing he can royally mess up because of last time.

It's the way that he posts as if he's imparting something really interesting that annoys me.  He knew nothing about OGS until 'thetrees' mentioned the plane journey, yet he's still on VT playing to the crowds.
