Was at VP yesterday for Sunday lunch noticed Norwegian TV filming there not sure that means he is coming or not .

I think by Friday we should know who it is and it's out of 3 people the positive thing is I think the fans will give whoever time and a chance without the pressure of being top 6 .
Following ONeil was always going to be difficult 6th and less cash with a tired squad then season after arguably our 2 best players leave it was even worse ? Then we stay up by the skin of our pants god awful football same old wankers playing up so new bloke can come in clear the dead wood out build a platform . I wonder if he has already been formally offered the job.

I just don't think Lerner would have hopped straight on a plane after seeing him without it being sorted. IMO it was arranged that he would work until the mid season break and then take the Villa job. Villa would say they were looking at other people to try and keep the heat off OGS but it has backfired because of the shitstorm caused by the jet business.

More likely informally, subject to negotiations this week. But Villa have maybe one more candidate to interview - at least that's what Kendrick says - before they offer anyone the job. All I can hope is that it's now just going through the motions before they offer OGS the job - either that or they're interviewing AVB.

Unless Randy is flying back today/tomorow you have to ask why he wanted to be here for Ole's interview and nobody else's?  OK, one or two may have been done before Friday, but the club statement said 'more candidate's to speak to', or words to that effect, which suggests we're in the middle of the process as opposed to the end of it.

As it all fits with the timing of the Norwegian mid-season break, it's now hard to see anyone other than Ole getting the job.

I agree that they've already informally offered Solskjaer the job and I said as much last week.
But interviewing anybody who applied or were approached is the polite and correct thing to do.

It also takes pressure off Ole, who can then see out the Molde job until 28/05, which I think was always the idea.
