When you said that EffDee I had an unexplainable vision of Neil in the Young Ones reading your post out loud.

Rumours of press conference being cancelled.

Quote
So we know that investor Kjell Inge Røkke defended the releasing of the statement that Ole had provided yesterday. We know that there is a Rokke press conference at 21:15 BST (now cancelled it seems).

It's got to the stage, in my mind at least, that they really have to hire OGS otherwise I really believe it's a great opportunity for the club missed. To my mind, he's the stand-out candidate both in calibre and the practicalities of recruitment, so it's obvious to me really.

How come you never mentioned him a week ago then?

That's like saying why didn't you mention lambert when MoN left.

In theory Lambert is more experienced, but if your good your good, regardless of Premier league experience and most believe OGS is good, it's just who takes the risk on him.

Yes most want him (me included) but we also acknowledge that it will take time, but with a vision and direction (which OGS obviously has) it is all worth it.

I'm greening up on Coyle and laying Holloway. I've no idea what that means, but bob says things like that all the time.

I'm doing both of those things to Holloway, but in reverse.   Think shallow grave scene in Casino.

Not sure how much there is in this but OGS gave hugs to all his backroom staff, handshakes with all his players on his pitch then the whole team was over to the travelling fans to applaud them.

Wasn't the tearjerking goodbye that we might be hoping for from what I could see.

OGS just did his quick post match interview. As I do not speak the lingo, I concluded that he was clearly not ruling anything in or out.

Incidentally they have a mid week game and home match on the 28th before a mid season break. Even if he penned a contract with Villa tomorrow he would probabaly take charge for those last two games.

I can confirm that the post match interview was restricted to a few quickies about the match, nothing else. About OGS and the team's reactions after the match I really don't know. As I am a fan of Tromsø, Molde's biggest competition last year, I really haven't been watching any of Molde's matches before today.

That said, I think today's match was quite representative for OGS' philosophy. Short, passing play, not many long balls unless pressed, runs in space, keeping the ball at the ground. This would be even more evident at a home match, as apparently Molde tends to dominate more and in general play better at home turf. Interesting point: in ten matches, NO draws.

About the supposed PC at 21:15, I can't see any mention of this in the big Norwegian tabloids.

Ozz, yes! But not the only one to be impressive. Which is good as it gives options...
