It just needs to be less boring and predictable, more than anything.

We are unfortunate because we have just had two seasons of poor football at home, but actually, despite finishing sixth, the two final MON seasons were dull as dishwater at home, too, making it more like four years.

Probably it's a natural reaction to the institutional pessimism of telling your players they're not good enough to beat Manchester United, or Spurs, or Liverpool, and that they've done well to draw with Stoke. Fuck that shit.

Molde 2-0 up with 15 mins to go.
Brought about entirely by managerial genius and the skill of Ekrim.

We've had a whole season of trying to 'play it safe', and I'd say most of up are fed up with it.

Maybe the reaction against safe pairs of hands is reckless, but unless we rediscover our ambition we are going to die slowly.

Exactly. I'd rather we died in a blaze of glory than slowly resign ourselves to mediocrity.

Spot on gents.

Too true. Managers have to start somewhere. I know it is not the same at all, but what managerial experience did Guardiola have when he took over at Barca?

I have not been able to follow H&V recently as friends staying has meant going out, doing things, eating and getting wankered every evening.

Has anybody mentioned THAT night in Barcelona yet?

He managed the Barcelona B and youth sides. Sounds familiar.

Club owner 'leaked' "three answers"

Molde FK and their owner Røkke decided to publish the three answers Solskjaer gave them before leaving for Birmingham last week.

With large public interest in the matter, the three stakeholders and the club
Director chose to make the information available to all.

Club director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen was heavily criticised for leaking the responses to a football newspaper. He has since been put on "holiday leave".

It was a bit of a naughty question to make the point OCD, but he had a clear philosophy on the way he wanted his side to operate, and brought it through while being excellent with the yong players coming through. I think the lure of OGS to the board is based in no small part to his success with young players. We have a very decent crop, and they are not being given the license or confidence to play at the moment. I think the board will look for someone to bring that out. I have not a clue about what youth Lambert has brought to the fore.

Exactly as a club we are in desperate need of a gamble.

Not sure how much there is in this but OGS gave hugs to all his backroom staff, handshakes with all his players on his pitch then the whole team was over to the travelling fans to applaud them.

Wasn't the tearjerking goodbye that we might be hoping for from what I could see.

Such is my diplomacy Ozzjim, I thought I would use a sledge hammer to drive home your point.

Interesting watching the end of the Molde match. I wouldn't say OGS didn't anything out of the norm but one of their players ran to the crowd and threw his shirt to them. It seemed like there was more to it - I couldn't tell whether it was Eikram or not though.

OGS just did his quick post match interview. As I do not speak the lingo, I concluded that he was clearly not ruling anything in or out.

Incidentally they have a mid week game and home match on the 28th before a mid season break. Even if he penned a contract with Villa tomorrow he would probabaly take charge for those last two games.

He was not asked at all, and the player in the crowd I *think* was the american Gatt, not Eikram.

That seems pretty emotional by Norwegian standards.
