Make it so Randy! I imagine it's been said already but Scandinavians and Villa have generally been a good fit...Mellberg Nielsen Sorenson Laursen Carew Gudjonsson even Allback scored a couple for us!

And thanks for the translation Gompedyret

Lamberts teams play far better football than mons teams, lambert is his own man and not a mini - mon.

No, but that doesn't mean he's a pass-and-move manager by any means.

Interesting to see this article by Zonal Marking concerning the swansea norwich game from a few months back regarding Lambert's tactical acumen

Another interesting development (from Aftenposten):

Quote
Molde director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen, reaping criticism for Solskjaer handling, now has gone on vacation.

Late last night Romsdals Budstikke published the answers Ole Gunnar Solskjaer allegedly gave Molde director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen, before he took the much-publicized trip to Birmingham.

The questions, which came from the boards of Molde Football ASA Molde FK and Røkke referred to the manager's future at the club.

The answers, which Nordstrand Jackobsen made public last night, has made a number of experts in labor law to respond.

- Can open up to walking the day (quit immediately)

- He breaks the general relationship of trust which must be between the director and employee. One can question whether he is liable to have this kind of job, a leading employment lawyers, Jan Tormod Dege, comments.

Molde's chairman, Øystein Neerland, would not comment on the allegations to the newspaper.

- I have no comment, says Neerland.

John Aage Hvardal, Codex Attorney, believes this breach of trust can open that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can break the contract with the club.

- If the employer commits a material breach of the duty of loyalty may ultimately provide the basis for the employee to terminate the employment contract and go in the day, says Hvardal to VG Nett.

In the midst of turbulence around Molde, Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen has now gone on holiday abroad. The media manager at Molde, Per Liane, confirms this to TV 2 Sport .

It is planned that the club's president and athletic director shall return the 6 June. Financial director Ole Jacob Hagen Strand is deputy.

- It is strange that he goes on vacation now. It may be a coincidence, but it sounds strange, TV 2 football expert Henning Berg says.

To sum it up, The director revealing OGS's answers to the media has been on the receiving end of heavy criticism and has now gone on holiday. Additionally, several lawyers thinks Molde's actions makes a good case for OGS leaving without compensation. Poor suckers.

there is absolutely nothing that i have seen in N'Zogbia as yet that sugsests he will come good, i didnt think he was all that special for Wigan to be honest,

he was Wigans Stuart Downing, for some unknown reason people see something in these players that just is not there, i mean Downing was our Player of the year, yet he is completely pants as he is again proving, but still getting picked even for the England squad,

Macoun could be a big winner, along with Bannan, Gardner and a few others from the youth squad,

as for Dunne, Collins, Hutton, even Gabby with his useless touch might all struggle

He's a very sound reactive tactical manager, but he's never struck me as proactively wanting to go out and play his way to victory, more reacting to what the opposition do. That's fine, of course, but it tends to produce one-off good results than consistent results. Still, we will see if we appoint him. I'm unconvinced.

out of the famous 3, Lambert, Martinez and Rogers,  Lambert was always my 3rd chioce anyway

This.

Although as 4th choices go, Lambert is pretty good!

The fact he played for MON is only slightly relevant. He played for Hitzfeld and Oo Eck as well.

Lambert is my first choice with OSG next for me. I like Martinez too to be fair. Rogers would be very expensive and doubt would be interested.

Christian Gross keeps coming into my mind.

Well, he's available, Greg - Young Boys Berne have just split up with him. But I don't rate the fellow myself.

There is no logical reason for OGS. Not on his record or where he's done it. Its just because we all know OGS. If he was a non-entity then no-one would want him.  Christian Gross keeps coming into my mind.

As does Arsene Wenger

Come on Randy, we pretty much all want Ole and Villa Park will be rocking for the first home game if you hire him.
