I think it's going to be quite a protracted task for Randy. If OGS has ruled himself out then Randy will just have to plough on, he's tried to do the right thing and get somebody to fit the bill but our stock has fallen a fair bit so this is going to be a hell of a lot tougher than we think.

I suspect reading that press conference that if he's offered it, he won't turn it down.

To be honest I haven't heard a lot about it, just received a lot of piss take text messages from Baggies and Spurs(?!?) fans saying that we're shit and he turned us down flat???

I see Jan Aage Fjortoft has tweeted saying he thinks if Solskjær is offered the job he'll take it.

I started following him yesterday, think he's the best one to keep us up to date about OGS. And yes he seems to think that if he's offered it,he'll take it.

Nah Sky and BBC massively jumped the gun and said he wasn't going to be manager. All he's said he hasn't been offered the job and it's up to Villa if we wish to pursue our interest. He's happy to stay at Molde for the remainder of his contract. So essentially it was very much a come and get me vibe coming across.

According to Talksport OGS is staying at Molde as he has not received any offers from Villa but if he does then he will have a decision to make. Hardly a definite no is it.

Sounds more like a yes if there's an offer.

I'm not so sure anyone can say our stock has fallen on the basis of this.  These are informal talks and nothing has been offered to anybody.  OGS hasn't been offered the job as far as I can tell.

Remember ron saying he was staying at sheff weds and then jumping ship for villa days later- the lure of the villa is hard to resist!

sadly, fella - i'm not sure it's as strong as it was... let's not forget the last 2 appointments - how i would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in any meetings/ interviews held by Faulkener & Mr Lerner...

Whoever, we need to move fast.  Contracts are ending and we need to take advantage of every opportunity.  Get him on board, back him, give him time.  He can't do a worse job than that last fuckwit who shall not be named.

Fair play to ogs for clarifying the situation- im sure if the statement hadnt neen changed his chance of getting the job would be over , but sky need to get their facts right , tinpot company!

No doubt ogs is still very much in the running but we will have more idea when we know who else is in the hunt.

BBC Sport now in reverse saying Ollie would "consider" the job....

No doubt it has ceased to be a story on Sky already.
