If we dont offer it to OGS now then I think we will make an enemy of him. He wont be available again for us. We have (accidentally) caused a pretty major wound with him and his current club.

That's not the Villa fault though. I think this if anything will drive a wedge between OGS and their owners - it's basically blackmail, you stay or we'll ruin the Club.

What kind of a working relationship is that to move forward with!

A bit like when Stevie G was talking to Chelsea and those wonderful supporters of theirs put the frighteners on his family - nice!

If the ITK about another candidate having 3 initials is right, I hope it is AVB. Sure it would be ambitious but he fits our profile of a young, ambitious manager and after it didn't work out at Chelsea I would imagine his ego would have taken a hit and he would be desperate to prove that he could do a good job in the Premier League. I know he's been linked to Italian jobs but surely the Premier League would have a greater draw? At least the candidates seem to all be from a good pool this time around.

Does MO'N count as 3 initials?

BFS certainly does and we have been told that no decision will be made until after the play offs so perhaps West Ham's young, dynamic manager is on his way.

I've thought about this and of all the options mentioned i would have Martin O'Neill back. It obviously won't happen but there won't be the excitement and anticipation this time like when he was appointed in 2006.

Whoever we get as manager the thing I am convinced of is OGS is now finished at Molde, the rift is to deep for repair,
I wouldn't be surprised if he quit soon no matter of a job offer or not

I just wish Sir Alex would hurry up and decide who we're having as manager.

I think Rokke is just playing the game known as Billionaire's Conkers. It's where extremely rich and powerful men compete by flaunting their wealth and power.

Randy went to the Private-Jet-parked-on-your-runway straight away. Rokke has countered by threatening to destroy his own football club on a whim.

Randy is better at this game

Might have this wrong, but I am surprised and pleased by the level of support and excitement for OGS actually, and think it has captured a lot of peoples imagination.

And I would not want MON back if he were were paying us for the privilege. He has screwed us over once. Lets not contemplate him doing it again. Dire home football too. Noooo sir not again.

I'm vocally excited by the prospect by OGS potentially being our manager, but I'd still prefer Lambert I think.

There wont be the same level of financial loss either after throwing countless millions for no better than 6th and zero trophies.

..ITK on other forums reckon a manager with three initials is definitely on the list? ...

Well I guess that rules out a member of the royal family. And interestingly enough puts most members of this forum in the running.

The plot thickens.

It's me isn't it. I hadn't given it any thought but thinking about it I did have a voicemail yesterday from someone with an American accent asking if I could meet him and his Chief Executive, Mr Smithers on Monday

You should call Dave Whelan. He always likes to be the first to know.
