now now ladies. Its a pointless arguement. all these ITK's that appear at times like these are probably on a wind up or a bit sad. Unless you're very careless its very hard to be proven wrong if you're mysteryman or his like

If the ITK about another candidate having 3 initials is right, I hope it is AVB. Sure it would be ambitious but he fits our profile of a young, ambitious manager and after it didn't work out at Chelsea I would imagine his ego would have taken a hit and he would be desperate to prove that he could do a good job in the Premier League. I know he's been linked to Italian jobs but surely the Premier League would have a greater draw? At least the candidates seem to all be from a good pool this time around.

Kim Jong-Un? He's got three initials and I think he'd be a Supreme Leader.

..ITK on other forums reckon a manager with three initials is definitely on the list? ...

Well I guess that rules out a member of the royal family. And interestingly enough puts most members of this forum in the running.

The plot thickens.

This may be wandering into conspiracy theory territory, but I'm beginning to think that the heirarchy may have actually learnt their lesson from last summer and may be trying a different approach.  Say Solskjaer is  on their list of potential managers, but is the least favourite of all the candidates.  By interviewing him first they have at least ascertained if their "go-to" man (if they fail with their bids for other candiadates) is interested and at the same time have sent a message to other parties that there is definite interest in the job from a high profile figure in the world of football.  Any interested manager would surely now have to come forward before the opportunity is gone.

Of course the above could well be fantasy, but the developments of today and the rumours about meeting with Lambert on Monday suggest something is afoot.

Lets hope they have improved over last years process.

If I didnt know better it appeared like they met down the pub scratching their heads thinking f a manager while having a few pints and on the way out to the car park bumped into Alex McLeish. "Ehhhyy lads, I gotta idea! Alex come here mate, what you up to these days?"

That one falls down on the basis that Ole seems to have become more popular than Lambert. I'm certain that he's the number one choice.

As I said Dave, just a bit of a conspiracy theory.  If Ole is the number one choice and both parties are happy, do you think they will bother with interviewing any more candidates?
