I'd take either Solskjaer or Lambert.

Other candidates then,so why cant randy stay and interview the other candidates rather than keep flying back, my money for lambert is not blown after all, i suppose randy will return next week and we will seewho the next candidate will be - the plot thickens.

This is what is irritating. Can't they just arrange an interview day or days to see all interested parties all in one week, rather than getting all excited about one candidate who then just blows us out?

Careful, or youll have that old goat clampy on your back!

Ahh, Eastie picks on me when plenty of other people have telling him the same thing all day.

Which as Eastie would say 'i fully expected'!

It may still happen of course, but I've got it into my head that I want Solskjær to be our manager now and I'll be disappointed if he isn't.

Perhaps he's waiting for the Liverpool call and their private jet to pick him up next week.

Is he collecting Air Miles?

Air Miles, but Brian Flies

i think we should take a look at that Brian Flies fella,

he could be the 'left side' 'outside the box' 'forward moving' 'fresh thinking' 'breath of fresh air' 'team building' sort of manager we are looking for

Henry From would be an excellent choice as DoF.

Rumours on Twitter that Randy has sent his private wheelbarrow to pick up Mick McCarthy.

This is a long thread. Did we ask this question yet: if OGS does get the job, who would his experienced assistant be and would they have to have MUFC connections?

Steve Clarke is available. Brian Kidd isn't. Carlos Q? Erm, others...?

It'd be whoever Solskjaer wants it to be.

I heard liverpool rejected clarkes resignation.

If ogs arrives id expect him to bring his 2 ex united coaches with him who followed him over to molde.

I mean that he would probably have someone with loads of FAPL experience to even out his lack of it.

Norwegian journo:

Vegard Fl. Vaagbo ‏@RBFlemma
Aston Villa job the first Solskjaer has an interest in since signing for Molde. Blackburn, Porthmouth or Wolves were never going to happen.

Vegard Fl. Vaagbo ‏@RBFlemma
Solskjær was warned by Røkke not to travel to meet with #avfc. When he still left, Aker, a company owned by Røkke, pulled out of Molde

Røkke channels a lot of his support to Molde through Aker. With Akers support Molde can spend £9m a year - without approx £7m is left

@GreavesAVFC They are in a state of shock. Losing Solskjær (if it happens) is one thing, losing Aker-support something else.
