Lambert is a boring choice. I demand fast flowing football, pass & move. I don't think Lambert willl bring that.

It may still happen of course, but I've got it into my head that I want Solskjaer to be our manager now and I'll be disappointed if he isn't.

Perhaps he's waiting for the Liverpool call and their private jet to pick him up next week.

And now we've tipped off anyone else looking for a good, young manager as to where they can find one!

Other candidates then,so why cant randy stay and interview the other candidates rather than keep flying back, my money for lambert is not blown after all, i suppose randy will return next week and we will seewho the next candidate will be - the plot thickens.

This is what is irritating. Can't they just arrange an interview day or days to see all interested parties all in one week, rather than getting all excited about one candidate who then just blows us out?

Careful, or youll have that old goat clampy on your back!

Is he collecting Air Miles?

I don't think it is going to happen, which will be a massive shame.

Holt asking for a transfer at Norwich may well tip Lambert over the edge there.

An informal chat with no negotiations, it is a bloody expensive way to arrange an informal chat.

He'll have a free trip to Florida by the end of the month.

Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure that any club with aspirations to win anything would think 'What we'd better do is copy Lerner and Faulkner over at the Villa, they are shit hot at getting managers'

I don't think people should be negative. I reckon they have informally shaken hands and it'll be made official Monday. We flew him over in a private jet? The 'informal discussions' comment is probably just politics to get him threw the league game over there.

Is anyone else feeling echoes of Juninho flying in, getting everyone's hopes up, and then flying out again?

And who are the other candidates? Liverpool? Very much doubt that his united connections would go down well with their support. Chelsea won't either, and I'm not sure he'd consider managing anywhere else other than england, such is his connection with the place.
