Just to update there is some misinformation going around that OGS has departed on Mr Lerner's jet, back to Norway.
This information may have been fed to at least one Sky reporter.

Mr.Lerner's jet has gone back to the U.S., with him on board. If OGS is going back it is a fairly long winded and arduous trip with SAS via Copenhagen and Oslo. If he does this, then he will likely take tomorrow morning's Copenhagen flight out of BHX, or go to Oslo from Heathrow.

That was from thetrees. So, yeah, something is up right now, I guess.
Maybe he said no and RL told him he could walk home.

Randy doesn't really need to be there the whole time in any case. Meet, greet, explain vision for the club, listen to what OGS has to say etc etc - if it were agreed, the financials and what not would go ahead with Faulkner running things.

I'd be much more concerned if OGS had gone back to Norway on Randy's plane tbh

It makes sense, really.

Ole comes over and agrees to be our manager.

Randy flies back to America.

Ole and his wife stay over night and then fly back in the morning, possibly Randy might even send his jet back to take them home.

He remains with Molde until their mid season break, when he officially becomes our manager.

Maybe Randy has gone back, because the deal is essentially sorted and Faulkner just needs to complete the formalities.

Now you've got me worried - Faulkner to complete the deal? Get Steve Stride in to sort it!

Here's a clip of Ole telling his players to "fucking SHOOT!"

I wonder what he'd have made of Heskey.

He even speaks like a Manc. Sort of like Hitz picking up the Brummie accent - which I thought was bloody great.

Shoot, shoot.  Lovely.

As time has gone on and I've read and researched OGS, I have really warmed to the idea of him becoming our manager.  Fingers and toes crossed.

You don't send a private jet and also bring a candidate's wife along for preliminary talks.

Would love to see the McLeish and Grant equivalent!

Nothing ever seems to go smoothly when we are looking for a manager

For heaven's sake Eastie we don't know what's gone on yet, calm down.

Indeed.  It is in effect a multi-million pound deal, and one that is hugely important to both the club, and OGS and his family.  You can't (and shouldn't) rush a deal like that.

Surely if talks had broken down lerner would have stayed and moved to the next target, why cant he just stay in england until we have a new manager in place?

Nothing ever seems to go smoothly when we are looking for a manager- best we can hope is a statement saying a deal has been agreed for ogs to take over as manager next week , or will be be kept guessing?

you bricking it eastie?

I've had a spring in my step this morning with the prospect of Ole being appointed, but I've just realised it'll be the first time we'll have had a manager who's younger than me.
Bugger, now i just feel old. Do we get cheaper tickets and a bus pass once we become older than the manager?

I was thinking this yesterday . Damn , sad times ..

You can if you are a billionaire!
