Kendrick:

The Molde chairman expects OGS to be in charge of their league game on Sunday, according to Norwegian press. Story to follow shortly

In an Alex McLeish expects to be managing Villa next season kind of way?
In a way I hope he does go back for that game, even if they've reached an agreement for him to join us. Not great form leaving a club two days before a game......

Would be nice if faulkner put out a statement letting us know if negotiations will continue or if ogs is one of a shortlist.

Molde expect ogs to be manager on sunday and if randy has gone maybe lerner has has said ' fuck it , you can make your own way home'.

Could of course also means its all agreed and randy has flown home happy- we await further news.

I think he'll stay in charge until the mid season break.

@TimothyAbraham: Source in Norway told me Solksjaer has finished his talks with #AVFC and is en route back for Molde's game at the weekend.

Too much work needs doing here to allow that , we need a manager asap.

When is their mid-season break?

Him managing their next game says very little - maybe he's asked to do this to say goodbye to the players and fans?

28th May is the last game before the break starts, Games start again on the 20th June

Surely if talks had broken down lerner would have stayed and moved to the next target, why cant he just stay in england until we have a new manager in place?

Nothing ever seems to go smoothly when we are looking for a manager- best we can hope is a statement saying a deal has been agreed for ogs to take over as manager next week , or will be be kept guessing?

Is there heck!

He can do both for 3 weeks. He can draw up shortlists and our lads will be on hols.

I'd have no issues with him staying with Molde until 28/5.

We have no games, the players won't be training and the transfer market will be pretty quiet until after the Euros.

I'm hoping that Randy going back means it's a done deal OGS will take charge of his last game at the weekend and then come back and sign on the dotted line on Monday

According to 'Thetrees' on VT. Randy's jet has just left to USA. Presumably with him on it.
That means Ole's turned us down and has been told to find his own way home. At least he might still get away with half price on the bus.

Just heard Ole's at the Hawthorns. The Baggies don't have their own jet and asked Randy if they could use his.

Press conference at 5.30pm (Black Country Time)

I thought they had a Boeing Boeing 747

Well I thought it was funny.

Norwegian sources say OGS is on his way home, but Randy's jet is heading to the USA? So something is up.

If they have a break on the 28th May it's possible he'll see out his duties to then.. Gives Molde time to find a replacement and such.

Not getting your first choice is going to smart again though isn't it?
