Both good articles, Dave. I just look forward to a time when all Villa fans are behind the manager and not bickering. It seems to have been all too rare in recent years/decades.

I totally agree on Villa's lack of experience football personnel within the club. Not sure if Comolli is what we are looking for, but an older more wiser head is whats needed.
I also like the role that Patrick Vieira has taken up at Man City whereby it crosses over from commercial activities also into club player development. A role I would like to give somebody like Martin Lausen.
