Cuellar just announced that this was his last game at VP.

Shame, I like Carlos

Just home from the game. My lasting memory of an otherwise very unmemorable game is how useless the two McLeish Galacticos Alan Hutton and Charles N'Zogbia are.   N'Zogbia is such a chicken shit both on the ball and in the apologies for tackles he puts in he makes Stewart Downing look like Gordon Cowans.

Don't blame N'Zogbia as its not his fault, he played great under a manager (Martinez) who believed in him and played him where he would shine, show his talents and allow him to play his natural game. It's kind of hard to shine and show your talents when you have a negative manager who hates any form of creativity not allowing him to play his natural game.

I beg to differ. He plays like somebody who is picking up a huge wage packet but is undroppable.

Sorry Situation I am afraid I have seen nothing from him this season to indicate anything but selfish, head down dribbling and rash sloppy passes.   That is not Alex McLeish, that is Charles N'Zogbia.   As somebody on here very pithily observed last week we paid three million for the player and seven million for his ego.

N'Zogbia is the most lazy player I've seen at Villa in years. It's a good job he's managed to get a career as a footballer because otherwise, if his work ethic in a Villa shirt is anything to go by, he'd be on the dole.

Just back. 130 miles, spent around £100 quid to watch Villa put one shot in for the whole game, and that was probably going wide before Gallas got in the way. Playing against ten men and yet still shitting ourselves going forward in case we conced on the break.  N'Zogbia was outrageously poor.  The man cannot control the ball and clearly didn't want to play today.  One up front against ten men for almost the whole of the second half, yet McLeish isn't a defensive tactician? Yeah right!  Also, where are your bollocks? Should have come out and faced the fans like a man.  Coward.

Crap game, defended well, other than a stupid Dunne challenge, but then, what did we expect from him?  Pleased with a point as my expectations have been lowered so much, even I am beginning to punch the air when we draw.  Probably safe now, but never again do I want a season like this. Sack the fucker now!! SHOW SOME BALLS!!

Ok guys, if we fired McLeish and got a manager who wants us to play attacking football and plays to win games rather than draw games do you not think we would see a difference in how N'Zogbia plays?

How McLeish sets up the team doesn't allow N'Zogbia to play to his strengths.

Even the noses complained how McLeish hated creative players and wouldn't let them play to their strengths.

McLeish might not play to N'Zogbia's creative strengths, but you'd expect a creative player to make the most of the time he's given on the ball. For most of this season, it looks as if N'Zogbia's actually been playing a different sport to his colleagues.

I agree entirely.

N'Zogbia has been poor, but he deserves another season.

I said same thing last season lol. After last season you couldn't even imagine the following season could be any worse... I was wrong it got a lot worse and this season has been a constant nightmare.

If Mcleish stays it wont be like this season again.
It will be like Wolves in the last couple of months.

I turned it on halfway through the first half and was pleasantly surprised, then they went down to 10 men and like everyone has said on here, the change in our play was uncanny, we looked like we had the man sent off. We have no idea what to do in the last third of the field, AM please go!

N'zgobia would be good under Martinez but it's hard to defend him as I've tried to for most of this season when he peforms as poorly as he did today.
