We're all but safe and not many people predicted we'd get anything from an in form Spurs side so I'm going to leave the post mortem until the end of the season and take comfort from the fact that we are still ever present in the Premier League

It was bad enough watching the game online so heaven knows what it was like at Villa Park but we avoided conceding the late goal for once so I am off out shortly to 'celebrate' us staying up!

As much as Eck probably wants to remain a Premier League manager I can't imagine he would put himself through the abuse for the next few months. The light at the end of the tunnel is only getting further and further away for him.

Thought Ireland had a good game as did Dunne (bar the penalty) couldn't fault them. Thought the team defended really well today. McLeish was unlucky with injuries today which pretty much took care of the sub options. Missed Gabby we really needed his pace today. Spurs are a really good team with so many attacking options I'm grateful for the draw, the sending off and the end of the season.

Except for judging delfouneso when he's never been given an extended run. He is 21 FFS, why are people so quick to write off youngsters? Give it a rest pal. Messi would have looked bad today playing for us. There was no service whatsoever

The Radio WM interview after the game made it sound like he will be/is planning for next season, which is rather worrying. Hopefully it's just a message to the club saying 'I ain't walking, so you're going to have to push me'.

Just in the car, did they have a man sent off or us? It was that hard to tell, Cuellar's definately off judging by his reaction after the game and on a personal note i've now gone the whole season without seeing us win, thank fuck its over.

Sadly he seems like a nice enough bloke but the only way to get him out is to hurl abuse at him and hope the owner reacts as we want him to.

I would'nt say he got a load of abuse, a few sack McLeish my lord chants and a banner held up a few rows infront of me that said "Its not were you came from, its were your taking us".

Unfortunately, Matt, he's had plenty of chances to prove himself on various stages (the latest, at Leicester).

He lacks the strength of Heskey, the pace of Gabby and the instinctiveness of Weimann.
All of which makes him a bigger leap of faith than the club are likely to give him.

I recon he'll move to Sunderland for around 2/3 million and do ok but he's never gona make it at Villa and won't become anything world class.
