As we are safe can we now ramp it up against the fucking useless twat of a manager?  We must make sure the fool is not incharge next season.

Never doubted we'd stay up but bloody hell, that was painful and with QPR scoring I had my first squeaky bum time of the season.

As the players demonstrated in the first half, they're not as bad as our league position shows, shame it took 37 games before we showed some real commitment. We just need somebody to come in and show some leadership, tactics and give this group some confidence, something we've been lacking all season.

We took everything Spurs threw at us second half, it should never have been a penalty, Dunne won the ball and anywhere else on the pitch that wouldn't have been a free kick. Saying that, I don't think we even had a shot on goal second half so we should just be grateful the lads got the point on pure effort alone.

Thank god we're safe as I never expected us to get anything at Norwich and I still expect Wigan to finish above us.

Farewell crap season. Farewell Alex McLeish.

If ever a stat summer up mcleish's villa it's the fact that spurs just had 63% possession despite having 10men for a large portion of the game. Absolutely unbelievable

My mate who's a yid and in the away end today couldn't believe how shit we were. I did per warn him. The fact that for pretty much half the game against 10men it looked like we were the team with someone sent off. No ambition to win at all. Plus it's only be pure fluke we even scored. I hope to god that the buffoon walks tonight how were safe. (that's what's I'm saving the champagne popping for)

Bloody hard work, absolutely knackered after watching that, would have taken a point prior to kick off, but we shouldn't be reduced to this...

tell you what, i joined the we don't want mcleish page on facebook at the beginning and i have hardly dissed the guy in public voice all season, but the sight of him chewing his gum fergie style when he knew his job was safe, 89th minute at 1-1 is one of the most sickening things i have seen at Aston Villa...and that includes an Ian Rush hat trick on a friday night. Big Eck is a complete tosser.

Not for the 1st time did we play relatively well in the 1st half, and then very poor in the 2nd.Failed to hold onto the ball at all in the 2nd, and Dunne ALWAYS has a mistake in him.Given did'nt have a save to make.

McL does need to go, but i'm not comfortable with all the personal abuse. But also Dunne, Collins , Warnock need to go as well.Warnock was terrible in the 2nd half, and Clark and Herd went missing.

We missed Heskey AND Hutton when they went off.

Just think chaps. That was the last ever game that Heskey or McLeish will ever have for Villa at Villa Park.

It feels good. Real good.

Ahh, safety.. albeit the most ugly brand, its a relief.

WE WERE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AGAINST TEN MEN.

McLeish had no plan, no initiative to adapt to the circumstances. He just put the players out there and figured that was all he could do. Unacceptable display. I can't believe our inability to get a decent build in to the final third. They pressed so high with ten men that a little bit of possession in their end would be a gaurentee, but leave it to Villa to be out-played and out-possessed.

Ship em out, all of em.

Spot on.

He simply has to go now. No point delaying the pain!

They can take half the team with them for all I care.  ;)
