Just seen McLeish has said they are a "slur on the club". Not condoning the players in any way but have to agree with what someone said earlier. McLeish you are a "slur on our club" now F*ck *ff out off Aston once and for all. I would love to hear his opinion of this seasons tenure under him. Oh no I remember now, we have had all the lame excuses that it is everybodys fault bar his.

Rare as it is, I'd defend the manager on this. What else is he expected to say, "well fuckin' done lads?".

Slagging him off for everything and anything only serves to weaken the argument against his inpet mangement and negative approach. It just becomes personal, which is what the press would love, vindicating their cock-eyed stance on our initial opposition.

There has been so much to criticise the club on, but in this case, from what I've seen, they've dealt with it quickly and effectively.

Regarding this incident, what exactly did you want him to say?

Maybe, but a bit of Pot & Kettle comes to mind here but for different reasons and on a grander scale.

Not really. Can you not see the difference between being crap at your job and getting pissed and starting a fight?

Something along the lines of "The incident has been dealt with internally and the players have been fined with the proceeds going to charity".

My comments are in reference to his comment. His tenure has been an almighty slur on the footballing traditions of Aston Villa F.C.

I agree the club in my eyes have dealt with this as well as they could have.

I believe so.  And in both instances he has been credited as - at least trying to be - the peace maker.

You can't really fault McLeish's comments there.  It had nothing to do with him, so he's fined them and moved on.  Fair enough.

I might have known it would all be McLeish's fault...

You see this sort of thing every night on Broad Street I'd imagine but that doesn't excuse them being utter idiots for putting themselves in that sort of situation in the first place. Doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know about modern footballers though.

Yep I want Mcleish out, but he hasn't done anything wrong here.
