Can't James Collins just go away? Is there anything good about him at all?

He puts his body on the line and is a committed defender. So yeah..

Otherwise known as having no positional sense, no distribution and a tendency to dive in. So, a committed but thoroughly flawed defender, an unprofessional human stain and a bad role model for our young players. He can go.

See what you want to see. Herd is the guy kicking off, I don't see Collins goading anyone or egging him on.

Video seems to show Herd is the main protaganist, silly young man when there is so much at stake in the next two matches.

Why are they out at 2:45 in the morning anyway

Maybe I am missing something here, but can anybody explain how this is symptomatic of our decline?

Whether we were top or bottom, the players would still have gone out for a drink and Herd would still have kicked off.

I have been in Mechu when Custard Pants was getting tanked up and we were sitting 3rd in the table. Was that symptomatic of our success?

It seems all a bit please somebody think of the children. Or have I missed something here?

I don't think it's symptomatic, it's just more bad news and publicity that we don't need, when we've had nothing else but bad news all season.

How about if somebody in the club had just groped your Mrs? (Not saying that happened btw, just an example)

None of us know what went on in the club, but something has for Herd to be reacting like that.

Nights out can sometimes take a turn for the worse, I think we have all been there when they have. People react differently, and we are all human.

Whether they should be out at all though is a different matter.

Yes, the logical course of action in that situation would be to try to kick in the club's doors.

True.

And it is also possible to think that this is the last thing we need right now, and something you'd prefer not to have happened, without thinking it is the end of the world / they should all be put in the stocks and pelted with rotten fruit / it is symptomatic of not replacing Ashley Young / whatever over the top nonsense you fancy.

True but you're probably not earning £10k, £30k or £50k per week now are you?  Im sure they would put up with their fella's making dicks of themselves if they were getting a share of that sort of money

I will struggle to muster up requisite levels of indignation, promise.

On an anatomical point (not directed at any particularly muckraking rag), how would it require Herd's shirt to be open to his his chest to reveal a tattooo on his neck?

On a moronical point (directed specifically at the Mail), how would the detail of this tattoo upon above-mentioned Association Footballer's neck mark him out as an obvious troublemaker in an age where every second cnut over twenty has a tattoo on his neck?

To me it just looks like now they are trying to divert the pressure away from Eck and blame the players for a crap season especially if they lose against the spuds

It's the cherry on top of a shit filled season.

I think the Cherry on the top would be if they announced Mcleish would be staying on as manager next season
