I don't think this is a big deal at all really. The article states that it was believed that none of them had been drinking, and it just looks like they've had an altercation with some bouncers which ended with Chris Herd kicking a door and telling it to fuck off.

I don't really see what all of the fuss is about. This kind of thing is a regular occurence in night clubs around the country. I don't care if they're Villa players or not.

Footballers do not set the moral standard for the country. We don't know what happened in the lead up to the fracas and yes rich young footballers can be total knobs but I'd imagine that there's a few non-footballing knobs lining up to take a pop at them just because they can.
