McLeish to stay in bed claiming that his missus slept on the side nearest the door.Dunne to pick the team, we go two down in the first five minutes.

Collins and Hutton stagger onto the pitch still wearing deely-boppers from the night before, followed by a taxi-driver who they'd done a runner from.

Darren Bent plays in a leg-brace, scores a brace from the first corners we have scored from since Eric Houghton used to take them.

Taxi- driver scores last-minute winner. The boy's a bit special and we sign him on a Bosman at half-time as his contract with Abba Cars has run out. 3-2 and we celebrate safety, only to hear that QPR have beaten Stoke 56-1.

We'll set up for a drawn but will struggle as ever against a top 6 team.

Been given tickets for this, and for the first time ever I'm tempted to pass on them.

My head says I should, but I know I'll go and end up being miserable at full time.

For no real reason I feel confident about this. We'll end the season at home on a high and win 3-1 with Gabby finally scoring, Weimann grabbing a goal and Gardner scoring his first senior goal which will see us safe.

Will take a point, through any means possible. Will keep us safe.

Time for experience, IMO -

Given
Cuellar - Dunne - Collins - Warnock
Herd - Clark
Gabby - Ireland - N'Zogbia
Heskey

Swap EH for Weinmann.

I'd be tempted to go with Lichaj at left back and Warnock in the midfield.

Nah.  You wouldn't get much more than a bag of crisps and a pie in a swap for EH.

Maybe, just for once, we could try upsetting the Spurs players and booing their every kick of the ball. If we could get booing to the crescendo it was against Bolton, it would be very effective at putting off visiting teams.

Reading the above has reminded me that this is the first time in quite a while that we haven't discussed the visit of 'arry to B6 and how much shit we intend to give the saggy faced crook!

An Alex McLeish special to earn us a point...again.
