Mrfuse, put your dummy back in and get behind Tottenham and Chelsea tomorrow just like every other Villa fan in the land.
And stop being a tart! ;-)

Sorry TV, but is is true. They idiots in question were only a few yards away from me. Well done to one of the guys behind them who confronted the ring-leader and despite facing a tirade of abuse himself, eventually got them to stop.

Really is sad to know we have such twats following us.

Never has the word "Non!" been pronounced with such cutting contempt and evil-eye stare. The bloke actually stopped dead and walked away from me. I feel thoroughly ashamed of myself now.

So McLeish has turned you into adopting the everyday behaviour of an average Paris Cafe owner!

One less game to play and we're still outside the relegation zone, so I'll take that as a positive, thanks. Hopefully it's one more point gained towards our survival, and just two more games left until the abomination that is Alex McLeish is removed from Aston Villa FC.

To the group of blokes in the Villa end who tried to get a "Let him die" chant going whilst the paramedics were trying to revive the WBA fan................

Fuck off you you bunch of idiots. You are an embarrassment to the rest of us.

What? I have not heard of a fan needing to be revived? Can you elaborate further?

If true, that would be moronic and insensitive on a stunning level. Let's hope it's mot true.

As for Mr Fuse's view on earning our survival, take a cold shower son. If we go down then you'll be utterly gutted and will massively regret thinking that way. Every point for us helps and every point the others drop helps. We need wins from Chelsea and Spurs. It's that simple.

Morons, why do they feel the need?

I have had more delight from the teams below us losing than us actually winning and I hope that will happen again in the next couple of weeks. Then hopefully we can have a sigh of relief and file this season away in forgotten memories.

AM does look a man defeated so prey we stay up and someone comes in and shake this club up a bit.

I'm glad someone had the balls to say something despite putting himself at risk. This is football. A game. At no point should wishing another fan dead be appropriate. Every team has them unfortunately. Just very disappointing.

My Baggies friend sent a text right at the start of the game saying that their supporters have just unfurled a banner saying:

"McLeish please stay"

Those of you who were there did you see that?

I think that is good fun on their part and hopefully another nail in ..........

Uk redsox is correct.  Absolutely appalling behaviour from a small group of our fans.

Fingers crossed that the person in question is ok.

Yes, we did.  In the stand opposite.  It was passed around like we pass our flag in the Holte End.  Their fans were singing McLeish's name and asked for a wave.

Shame on them that they didnt join in with the Petrov applause but fairplay to the announcer who, before the start of the game, mentioned Petrov and wished him well for a speedy recovery.

I'm just relieved that the game is over with another point in the bag.

Didn't think we played too badly (don't forget expectations have been considerably lowered this season).

Had two totally drunk Baggies fan sitting by me on the train home putting the Villa to right.  Absolutely hilarious listening to them.

Thanks BE and Damon for making me laugh reading this thread.
