over reliance on experienced players for me, they havent been up to it so far this season when they have played, i wouldnt trust them now.

i'd stick with the youngsters i trust them more

I agree. Hope they prove us wrong though.

Well, I can't think of any better company to be in for a significant nail-biter like this than you lot; and I thank you all for being here in my hour of need.

Strap yourselves in, stay positive and enjoy: this could be one helluva ride!

Surprised to see no Weimann, though I'm quite happy with that team today.

C'mon you Lions!

He's gone with a very physical, solid midfield in herd, clark and warnock. Regardless of skill those 3 will give it 110% till the end.  Come on you villa boys!

Very defensive line-up. Would have liked to see Ireland in the middle. Herd/Warnock/Clark will stifle the Boggies but no real creativity there. Think we'll see a lot of hoofball to Heskey

To be fair, I'm not sure ireland is fully fit.

He can't be. No manager, no matter how bad would leave their best player out otherwise.

Me too. I have gone incommunicado with the kids and wife in the lounge, not sure they are going to get more than the odd groan, moan or swearing fit over the next 2 hours. Fucking bricking it.

McLeish interview on WM - blaming loss of Bent, Dunne and Stan and other injuries for where we are. Fucking clown - what was the excuse for the lack of points before the injuries? Blaming everything except himself

Where's Weimann? He was the reason Heskey looked good in the last match - proper movement in and around the box. Sorry to say it, but in that department Gabby ain't gotta scooby.
