The telegraph seem to think it will be a 4-3-3 with Albrighton playing tucked in with Warnock and Herd.

Well that's clearly just bollocks surely?

IRELAND IS NOT FIT ... IRELAND IS NOT FIT ... IRELAND IS NOT FIT ... IRELAND IS NOT FIT ... IRELAND IS NOT FIT ...

The injury elf strikes again.
Kind of a negative Fairy Godmother.  How on earth?  Ireland looked ok on Saturday!

Perhaps Warnock has been stunning them all at BH with his midfield play, during training. Good on him for taking this on at this stage, it can't be easy.

The only comfort I have is that the best game I have ever seen Warnock play was against us in the centre of midfield for Blackburn 18 months before he signed.

And there are alternatives to mix it upon the bench - like young Carruthers and GG, for instance.

That team selection is hardly the dawn of a new age for Villa is it?
There is seemingly no continuity or plan about anything he does.

so when was Ireland injured ?     after the argument with McLeish
If that is true then AM is just confirming that he can not manage at this level.

If he has put a little arguement over the good of the team then that alone should get him the sack.

I hadn't heard anything about Ireland being injured up until it was announced on here.

You have to hope.

Which makes me think, how are teamsheets submitted these days? Are they written in the old school soccer manager way when I was at school, with arrows and all sorts?

I'd have liked to have seen Carruthers start on the right,if Bannan cant start with all these injuries, then i dont think he ever will. This is gonna be a tough watch, not one for the purists. Emile to knee one in from the edge of the box. UTV

They could eat up fifteen minutes of the hour by showing what happened on the pitch during the half-time break!

No, that's wrong. Chin up. We'll murder them. Come on you lions!

Somebody please for the love of god explain to me why Ireland's not playing. I have heard nothing of any injury of any kind and he's even had an interview on the OS about how he's going to play against Bolton.
