Bolton have only one fit first choice midfielder...Nigel Reo-Coker.  If we don't get a result, McLeish better not use our injuries as an excuse.

---------------Given

---Hutton-Cuellar-Baker-Lichaj

Albrighton-Ireland-Herd-N'Zogbia

---------Weimann-Heskey

If Gabby is fit, I'd play him wide instead of Marc

A nervy 2-1, Weimann & Heskey

Thats what I'd go with. I know the wingers crosses were lame on Saturday, but at least we had a bit of shape. Seemed to give us some sort of attacking itent that has been lacking when we flood the midfield with the likes of Bannan/Gardner at the expense of wingers. Bring Corruthers on for Albrighton if he carries on where he left off last time out.

With Wiemann, Heskey and two wingers in a 4-4-2 we'd at least create chances. Just need to convert them.

I have faith! UTV

Can see the atmosphere for this being poisenous if it goes on to long without a goal or noblot nick one early. However Bolton are sh*te, which means I've tempted fate and they'll beat us

I think we will win but I will have to try and hide from my son the fact that I will be shitting myself before and during the game in case we don't. A nice comfortable three or four nil victory would be nice. Anybody remember them?

3-0 v West Ham first game of last season!

4-0 v Wigan October 2008, but that was away.

last home 4-0 win v Bolton April 2008

although we did beat Bolton 5-1 in November 2009.

I'd take that tonight!

We could do with an early goal to settle us down.
Can see us hanging on for a 2-1 win.

Please stop shitting yourselves. This is football.

Go to the match, have a few pints, have the craic, scream your lungs out and enjoy yourselves.
Everything will be alright.

Or if shitting oneself can't be avoided, please come kitted out in mansized nappy.

Perhaps an idea for the final home/ away fixtures, when fancy dress is more acceptable.
With the added bonus that it might discourage any notions of a lap of dishonour from the players, for fear of a barrage of soiled undercrackers coming their way.

A quick check of a Bolton pre-match thread, they are even more pessimistic than we are.

I would take a point now! We've only won 2 matches this year. One against Fulham, when the goalie couldn't hold onto a standard shot in the 93rd minute and also away at Wolves when we needed Robbie Keane to score two goals to help us win, otherwise we would probably have lost.
