Tubridy obviously knows nothing about football.  There was nothing from that interview that hasn't been covered in his book.
Was McGrath serious when he said he was a Chelsea fan, or was he just saying it because he doesn't want Liverpool to win the FA cup.

That's what I thought. he really is a hopeless interviewer. He doesn't have the ability to get his guests to relax and chat. I#m not sure about the Chelsea thing, it came as a surprise to me.

The great man was on Talksport this morning. Brazil spoke to him about Manu and Villa.  On Manu he said he was hoping they will win from 4-2 but disappointed that they didn't.  When they switched to Villa he straight away  started saying "we this" and "we that"...he did not use the term "we" at all   when talking about manu...Fantastic!

I heard that. Cheered me up no end on a rainy Monday morning.

I think he had a fondness  for Chelsea when a kid but would doubt very much that he is a die hard Chelsea supporter per se now!  He was probably just airing his "anyone but Liverpool" feelings that a lot of us share.

He was born in Ealing. Not sure if that has anything at all to do with it.
