We don't look like scoring. We look like we are playing better than previous games, but that's because we have been playing rubbish.

If we don't get a lucky goal, I think we will lose by a single goal, as if they score, MON will tell them to park the bus and we won't have the guile to break them down

Unless we get that killer pass into the box it ain't happening.

All I want is a goal!

Actually, we can agree on that!

Started quite brightly but have faded. It's been a poor game, with little quality. Gardner probably been the pick of the midfielders and they've had the best chance so pretty happy to be level at the break.

Hope Gabby's shoulder is better than it looked, thought in the earlier stages it's the first time he's looked properly fit since he's been back from his last time out.

Jesus, awful.
Another poor 1st half.

Really? I think we've played quite well today, certainly better than we have over the last few weeks.

I think we've got used to seeing sh*t so any improvent is seen as palying well. But, we can't put 2 passes together and have no direction.

We've put a number of good passing moves in this afternoon, though! And this is the most attacking performance we've put in for ages, so the first half showing definitely had clear intent (if not the ability to pull it off).

I've been happy to decry our performance this season, but today is far from terrible........so far.

We'll have to disagree, it's painful to watch. All I want is a goal!
We don't do goals. We don't do going for it either.
FFS this is a mediocre Sunderland we are struggling to keep up with, they are not a good side and we are a poor side.

Absolutely right,

Nzogbia is a wate of space he has talent but no conviction, get him off and soon

Absolute nonsense.  He's the only one prepared to try something.  Why are you slating him when Albrighton has done fuck all.

Good first half really, young side passing well and creating chances.

We need to find the killer touch to our play

If they score first I think we're fucked. I don't see two goals in this Villa team at all

We need a goal, not to state the obvious, but we need a goal because it gives us that breathing space, if we can get a goal i think we can relax and get more.

We don't win often, we don't score often that's why this manager needs sacking.

If we get a goal then we can try to hang on for a draw.

Think we've been ok.

I did say before the game that Big Mac would be gunning for a nil nil win, so should be happy!

I nearly crapped myself when I saw Heskey starting to take off his XXXL t-shirt, when Gabby was looking injured.
