0-2 Sunderland. I also agree with all those who say there will be a horrible atmosphere at Villa Park as people start to turn on each other due to the division felt in the ranks about Pubey.

I'm hoping we'll get a wee bit of good fortune and win this one, which would be terrific, just terrific.  We've got an honest bunch of lads and I know they will all be hoping for the best result they can get.

Like it, MON's pre match interview  ;D ;D

Shouldn't need anymore against McLose

I just can't see us getting a result out if this, 2-1 to Sunderland.

Pube head will have Sunderland fired up for this one and if the atmosphere is to negative it could have a detrimental effect of the players.

Gabby has been as poor as Emile this season. Not a league goal since Norwich at home.

Weird isn't it?  He looked like a world beater in that match.

2-1 to the Villa.

I would love it, if we beat them.

Martin O'Pubes teams never could break down the shit teams. Seems we're in the luck being the second worst team in the Premier League.  :)

0-0.

Given the crap we are serving up and the lack of home wins I think the atmosphere at VP has been pretty benign towards Alex. Probably because most are bored shitless.

If we are being outplayed by Sunderland or we surrender two thirds of the pitch again I reckon it will be the last straw for the fans.

And AMc will finally get the venomous hostility he deserves. It could be very ugly especially with MON doing his cartwheels.

Lose this and we're in the shit.

Thankfully, I think we'll do just enough to scrape a nervy 1-0 win.  With a goal preferably in the last 10 minutes, as if we score earlier than that, we'll invariably park the bus and invite pressure.

Slumberland have already got the deckchairs out based on recent performances, and whilst O'Neill might be up for this, that doesn't mean his players will be.   Hopefully.

1-1.

Goals: Villa - Heskey (hoping to impress his potential new manager)
Sunderland - Larsson (player we should have signed)

0-0

Cant see them having enough to break us down, cant see us crossing the half way line. It will be a chore to leave the pub.

Bear in mind Kevin the way he used to fire up our players for local derbies, I think he'll be treating this fixture in the same way.
His contempt for us will really fire him up, especially knowing he could potentially relegate us, I think they'll be up for this.

True Fletch, but we're still 'just'  Villa to most ordinary sides.

And their lot will know they won't get any extra kudos with their fans for turning us over. When you get past his waffle, it will just be another game for them, another fixture to fulfill as they wind the season down.

With their current league position they probably feel they've done enough and might just phone it in.
If they do actually turn up we're facked though.
