and whilst O'Neill might be up for this, that doesn't mean his players will be.   Hopefully.
Bear in mind Kevin the way he used to fire up our players for local derbies, I think he'll be treating this fixture in the same way.
His contempt for us will really fire him up, especially knowing he could potentially relegate us, I think they'll be up for this.

The 5-1 glosses over the fact the other 3 games were incredibly tight games which we won in the last 5 minutes. We could easily have lost a couple of those games if the ball hadn't bounced for us as whisper it quietly SHA played very well in MON's last derby at VP and should've won that game.

1-1 victory - Ireland for us, late Larsson goal for them. Fist pump in celebration from McLeish to the Holte as he leaves the game at the end.

If a point at home to Stoke merited a fist pump, then I reckon a 1-1 win at home to Sunderland will be a recreation of Bob Stokoe running across Wembley with his raincoat and trilby hat.

Did McLeish really do that at the end of the Stoke game?!

A fist pump then a turn around and wave at someone in the executive seats

MONs far too clever for AM. He'll outwit him and take the 3 points.

For me, it all depends on which Sunderland side show up. I think MON will have the lads up for this one, and i think we'll take the three points in a 2 goal win.

i think he should play given, hutton, collins, eric, ireland, herd, delph, gabby, charles and weiman.
with main striker being weiman and gabby and charles playing of him

Just like he outwitted that managerial Goliath Terry Connor last weekend.

I am pretty sure we won't win.  A draw is the best we can hope for against these giants..

Said AM today at BMH.

I read a stat somewhere that AM has never beaten Oneil (it may have been on H&V), so I cant see him turning that around on Saturday
1 - 2 loss methinks

Another defeat i think, but you never know how the lads will play.Having the memory of Pubehead leaving us up shit creek with only an ex bluenose to run to might just tip the balance in our favour.Post match Thread should be an eye opener.Site standards ladies and gentlemen!
