I'm watching the game with my girlfriends united supporting brother and dad. They are pitying us fans, saying they have never had an easier 45mins. I'm absolutely ashamed

So sorry mate, noting worse than that with your family like that, what can you say, I can think of 2 words Alex McLeish, everybody and his uncle knows it

There are UTD fans wearing half UTD half Villa scarves, please tell me there is another reason for this, than they just enjoy playing us?

Am I missing something?

They seem to be popular for all games these days, and I just don't get it. For a non-league club in a cup tie against a big club, yes. For two PL clubs who play each other all the time??

I genuinely think they're aimed at  the day trippers and tourists.

Im not going to have a go at Young for diving. I'd kill to have him back at our club. I never complained when he won us games and points while he was here.

It makes me very sad watching us at the moment

I will have a go at Young, I did when he was at Villa for diving and I will now. To do it against the club that made you shows the man has no shame.

And Collins can do one as well.  So much for Sky saying 'Baker's mistake cost Villa' - once it got to him any touch would likely have been an own goal, Collins had an easy chance to smash it out for a corner and missed it.  Collins mistake = goal conceded, how many times has that been the case?

Sadly no senior players are standing up to be counted today - especially vital that Gabby and Ireland showed the youngsters the way, but they have been less than average.

Young changed direction away from the line of the ball to run into Clark.

Shows what a great manager McLeish is . Gives Gabby the captaincy and hes gone backwards  , doesnt seem bothered at all.

If there's one thing I'd change about the team is would be the ability to hold possession for more than 3 seconds.  There's no composure *at all* when we have the ball in defence.  We are the embodiment of low confidence and it makes good teams look great when thy play us.  Let's be clear, Man Utd aren't a great team.

I expected us to lose so I've no idea why it's so galling to watch.

As for Ashley Young... all respect gone.  Shame.

Man u are playing very well tbh. We haven't got any outlet upfront, Heskey should be playing the Gabby role, suckered for the Pen  both ref and Clarke.  Just keep it under 5 please !

I see them far too often for my liking down VP the past couple of seasons.

Gabby, Garnder & Collins OFF

Heskey, N'Zogbia & Cuellar ON

Grow a pair and do it McLeish.

Looking for it, all the day long and Yorke is wrong, yes its dangerous to make contact in the box, but when a player uses his foot to find you, what are you supposed to do.
