Love to absolutely all the villa players, past and present X

Including Hodge, Unsworth and Downing? Surely not!

Didn't realise some of you guys where so sensitive. I have been a Villa fan since 1968 and have loved all Villa players (maybe not Hodge) no matter what race or colour they have been. Im sorry if anyone has been offended, I meant the thread to be a bit of fun. Maybe the threat of the drop is getting to few of you. UTV

What is the point of this thread?

To give another reason for someone to slag the manager.

I can only duck out of the race debate but the rogue apostrophe in the thread title has massively offended me.

Not as much as the missing one in your username offends me. ;)

If they're on the park...
But ok, I take your point about Hodge.
And Mrs Unsworth prevented him from really making his mark.
But I am so pissed off about Downing it's not true.

So love to all the villa players except...
You see it really doesn't work.
Can we just agree about not the wankers?

Pointless thread and  "not fully black" comment just sums it up.
Anyone on here "fully white"?

Can we also check to see thread starter is not TRS-T in another guise?

Do you not understand that Gabby is half white?

Which half?

When Gore Vidal said that it was better to be too clever by half than too stupid by three quarters, he wasn't kidding around.

His maternal half.

Couple of points. Black is not race and if the sentiment here was to celebrate the fact that we helped and advanced acceptance of footballers who happened to be black than well and good however it should not even be an issue these days. it's not a freak show. The best 11 should be on the pitch every week whatever shade their skin colour.

Absolutely.
One day we'll also not worry about their sexuality as well, although I still dread the reception the next openly gay footballer will get, and they are out there, simple statistics tell you that.

One step behind the "some of my best friends are black" defence. Also includes the classic "politician's apology". Are you David Cameron by any chance?
