We're going to get the backlash from the Wigan result... 3 or 4 nil I reckon.

Feeling lucky... 2 - 0 to us.  Cos it's my birthday today!  The vibes will travel.

4 nil. Rooney 2, Welbeck, Giggs.

Stroll in the park.

The poll should be how many shots will we have in 90 minutes. I am going for 3. 1 on target.

I think this is the most certain I've ever been that we'll lose a match in my 17 years of supporting Aston Villa.

I'm more concerned about injuries and red cards in this one.

I can't see anything except a drubbing.  If they have beaten Wiggum, we might have a chance.  Of a draw.

4 - 1 to them.  Gabby our scorer.  & Young will be one of theirs.

I thought we would lose this game 2 or 3 nil. After Wigan I thought we would lose by more.

Then Lawro precticted us to get thrashed, so I now have new heart. So on that sentiment we wont lose now by more than 7.

Or we will bore them to death and get a 1-1 draw.

Or the kids will come good and we will win 2-1 (please, please).

Fuck who knows, I don't but I fear the worst but hope for something.

Lawro also appears to be predicting that every single team that is battling relegation will be safe, apart from Wolves, so he must know something about a forthcoming rule change none of the rest of us are in on.

TEAM NEWS

sportinglife.com

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish will check on the fitness of Chris Herd and Stephen Warnock ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with leaders Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Herd suffered a head injury during Monday's 1-1 draw with Stoke while Warnock was substituted with an ankle problem. Charles N'Zogbia and Gary Gardner will be in contention to replace the duo if ruled out.

Midfielder Fabian Delph has returned to training after his ankle injury when on loan at Leeds while winger Marc Albrighton is battling to overcome a thigh problem

Having studied the opta stats and added in our record in Manchester, our record against teams in red and our record live on tele in recent seasons it's looking like an 11-0 defeat.

However, taking in other factors such as the added pressure United will be under following the Wigan defeat I'm going for 8-1. Our goal will come early at the Scoreboard End as De Gea panics thinking he's gone deaf in his left ear.

But there's hope - the last time I predicted such a pasting we went and won at Arsenal last season.

Gerintoem... fuckemall

Of these, only Clark would be a consideration IMO

I can't make it to the match so I've got a couple of tickets available if anyone's interested.

I'm open to offers but you would have to collect from the South Birmingham area.

PM me.

We should attack and give it a go, that's the only hope and therefore N'Zog should start. We won't however and we'll probably get a pasting.
