Bannan looked a problem defensively against Liverpool - most of their play came down his side, in part because he was not tracking back. Not his fault he's out of position and the threat from Stoke is different anyway. But let's play in their half so Bannan comes into his own attacking.

Nice to see a little bit of experience on the bench for once.

Now this is an experienced bench.  their combined age must be about 220.

Substitutes
29 Sorensen
20 Upson
39 Woodgate
16 Pennant
10 Fuller
25 Crouch
33 Jerome

Loving the Everton score!!

Yes, although the Newcastle score is more crucial.

We don't have much on the wings do we. Lichaj and warnock look rusty and bannan is always going to cut in.

Why did warnock just give a stupid free kick away. Again. They weere going nowhere

Watching on PS3 via Villastreams. CH8 in HD. Suffering in quality.

Started okay.  Ireland seeing plenty of the ball which helps the team tick over nicely.

Not much quality in evidence thus far, it must be said.

Not impressed with lichaj's start. Looks very uncomposed.
