Had to be moved to give Stoke a full 48 hours between fixtures, they played Wulverhampertun late on Saturday.

I doubt Villa are likely to put us in a more relaxed mood for the remaining games by winning, we dont do things that way, the kids put in a big shift against Lpool and I dont think we will have the legs to grind it out against Stoke so another draw for me as we creep to the finish line.

Heskey must not start and we must concnetrate on trying to win the game above anything else. Chances are Stoke will score from a set-piece, so let's focus on scoring more than them (what a novel idea, being a football match!) and play an attacking team that wants to get forward.

I think it's a rule that you have to have at least 48 hours between games.

I'm almost certain Heskey will start today.  It's one of the very very few games we play in a season where his inclusion is warranted.  Having said that, I agree.

Dry first half followed by 5 goal thriller in the second, with villa coming out 3 -2 winners due to gabby last minute goal.... I hope.

We have the players to beat them with football, but I suspect we'll try and play them at their own game and be penned back more than we'd like. Still, both sides are blunt as a hunk of cheese, so 0-0 for me.

I want him to play up front with Gabby as a 4-4-2.
Play Warnock on the left.

We need 3 points - badly.

I reckon our kids probably need the rest more than their motley crew of cads, bounders and ne'er-do-wells. The extra two and a half hours might do us a favour.
