Kendrick has tweeted that Albrighton is injured.  To be fair we talked about how bad injuries were last season but this does appear to be worse.

I'd have rather have seen Carruthers than Heskey to be honest, just to give their defence something to worry about. Let's just hope Heskey plays as a striker rather than just an extra man like he did against against Arsenal.

                  Given

Hutton  Baker  Collins  Lichaj

 Agbonlahor Ireland Bannan

               Heskey

Maybe something like that?

At least give Weimann a game over Heskey

If Hutton starts wide right I fucking despair.  I sort of begrudgingly accept with our injuries that Heskey might play.

I presume that Albrighton is injured... he MUST be!

Someone earlier said he didn't travel as injured groin

Fair enough, for once I don't think McNuggat has much choice but its another damage limitation jobbie!

I'd rather we just started with 10 men than play Heskey.

They will be battering us from the start and will most likely score, if he changed it I could understand, but if he sits and watches us getting hammered without doing anything about it, he should be sacked.

I'm not sure what other team he could play really, I'm alright with that. No matter what team he chose he would get criticism on here.

Warnock will play left mid and Bannan on the right. Lichaj at LB is just fine. He's played there for the US. It's all we have left as we literally down to the bare bones. It's going to be a long afternoon.

Players out makes miserable reading

Bent
Dunne
Petrov
N'Zogbia
Albrighton
Jenas
Cuellar
Delph
Weimman
Clark

Look Gabby is crap as a winger, Hutton is just crap, Heskey is even crapper.. Villa to WIN in Big Ecks world by losing 3 nil.  "we had more of the ball than them at  2 nil I thought I might change it at 87 minutes. i was worried about the young players because  Anfield is a formidable place to come and I remember when they beat Small Heath 7 nil a couple of years back." Alex McLeish sky sports 17.20...

It's got to be 4-4-2 for me. We need to get at them, they're shite at the back.

The team selection is about the best we've got. Warnock needed to be in midfield as we have little to no experience in there and we're gonna get caught at times.

It's not ideal and we'll probably still lose but little complaints from me.

I suppose it depends how he has deployed the players, Chipsticks. If it's Gardner, Bannan and Hutton all out of bleedin' position, then he deserves the criticism should we be duly tonked.

If they are organised more in keeping with, say, the positions they actually are used to, and we get duly tonked, then fair enough.

Of course, if we win....
