The Masters 2012
« on: April 02, 2012, 07:51:29 PM »
As usual SKY are building it up and I can't wait.
What do you reckon? Can Tiger announce a big return? Big Phil? A European victory?

I'll have a flutter as usual, but need a couple more days to ponder.

I think its Paddy Power but one of the bookies are refunding all losing bets on the masters if Tiger wins it....

Can't wait, should be a fantastic event.
Woods will be there or there abouts that's for sure. He's playing impressive solid golf lately. There are so many players in good form. Luke or Lee winning it would be great as would Rory. Keegan Bradley will have a good shot as well I reckon.

Dark horses...Justin Rose, Hunter Mahan..?

...Yep, and top 6 e/w.

I'm aiming my punt at the top 6 e/w that PP are offering. Jason Dufner at 125/1. Don't think he'll win it but could be in the mix. McDowell at 66/1 looks good to me too. Would Like Luke Donald to win but whatever happens I can't wait for it to start.

I've backed a few to try and ensure I have an interest going into the weekend.

I've had Donald, Mahan, Watney, Immelman EW, YE Yang EW and E Molinari EW and can't wait for them to tee off!

I've gone for 4, Westwood, Mahan, Casey (great odds & coming back from injury) & Immelman (won there before)

I've gone for EW's on McIlroy, Stricker, Fowler and, as a leftfield outsider, Martin Laird.

Small E/W on Stricker, Laird and Yang.
Little win bets on Choi, Haas, Hunter and Kyle Stanley.

How good was Westwood!! Pleased for him..
How Woods got round in level par swinging like that is beyond me.
Rory stuck with it and finished great...
Can't wait for the the 3 days...so many contenders

Agreed, pleased for Westwood. I felt Stensons pain last night; especially when he lashed out at the pine needles after his 3rd at the 18th.

Woods clearly isn't anywhere near being back...playing awfully this round. Could well be out of it by the end of tonight.
Rory looks good and looks like he has a lot more in the tank.

Blue Square gave me a free bet of £3 so I've had £1.50 each way on Sergio Garcia. He's doing pretty well so far. ¡Vamos Sergio!

Woods was a knob last night, he made a real fool of himself at the 16th. He also pi$$ed me off when he failed to shout 'fore' on more than one occasion. He's not the only one to now follow that trend though.

Another great round yesterday and it's still wide open. Shame about Rory but he'll have more than he fair share of majors.
Who's your money on now? Westwoods putting is killing him..he really should have been 2/3 shots better off. Mickelson was awesome as was Hanson..
Would love to see Harrington charge and Westwood do the business. Mickelson or Louis for me now...they've been there and done it.
