Could someone tell me why Albrighton's injured?

Snigger
Because McLeish shot an albatross, apparently.

isnt that how we have been set out all season, damage limitation?why should today be any different?cant see where a goal is coming from for us at all unless gabby steps up to the mark.its going to be tough to get any sort of respectable result out of this.all we can hope for is that the depleted squad, full of youngsters gives a good account of themselves and fights for the club.we all know that we are in the shit and we may well get relegated.it will be a shame if we do go down, but then maybe the board of wankers, sorry, directors will see what we have seen even before the season started-that they made a bad decision in ignoring the fans when they appointed mcuseless and an even worse decision not sacking him quite a few games ago.the bloke has never once said it is because of his lack of tactical awareness and bad man management is the reason that we are in this position.you only have to look at most of his team setups to see that he is clueless.he just blames the players all the time.its all bollocks!as for faulkner saying that we should be fighting for a european spot, well,he can just go and get f..ked.it was his decision, along with lerner that got us into this mess.they appointed the clown, they can get rid of him and hopefully follow him out of the door soon after.WE WANT OUR VILLA BACK!!!

Two things to take from this:

1) You make it sound like having a 'depleted squad full of youngsters' is McLeish's fault. Love him or hate him, (I'm gonna assume it's the latter) he's been incredibly unlucky with injuries, something MON never had.

2) It's fair enough to sit there and say that we should've sacked him a few games ago, but look what's happened to Wolves since they got rid of their manager on a knee-jerk reaction.

i am also surprised he hasn't said it is his own lack of tactical awareness to blame.loads of managers do that.

On the plus side, that comment has put a very cool and calming tune in my head which will help me deal with this afternoon's events

a lot of managers will admit that it was there fault ,that they got there decisions wrong is what i meant mate.he cant just go round blaming the set of lads that he has chosen all the time.a bit of humility fromthe bloke wouldnt go a miss would it?instead all we hear is his arrogance in the after match interviews and thats not fair on the lads,i dont think so anyway.i just hope we can survive,by the skin of our teeth.surely the board must be looking for a replacement, surely.can lerner and faulkner, after witnessing european nights at villa park be satisfied with the posistion we find ourselves in now?if it was you giving the same sort of performances at your work me thinks you would be quickly f..ked of down the road,i know i would be.it cant continue like this.for fucksake, are we destined to become another sheff wed, notts forest or the likes of?slipping down the divisions into total obscurity cause nobody upstairs really gives a shit,or are the people upstairs going to do something before our great club gets fucked over bigtime?i just care about my club, along with all the rest of us and this shit can not go on any longer.

Head says we will struggle, but if we don't concede early then maybe, just maybe we can get something and it would be brilliant if we could pile more pressure on Red Scouse and King Kenny.

Just predicted 1-1 on Super 6 on sky sports - interesting that they think our man to watch is Darren Bent, so maybe they are suggesting Villa fans avoid the game and go shopping.

Lose this one 2-0. To run salt into the wound Downing will get both goals!

We now have the most injuries in the league with 10.

Didn't he have injury problems when at blues? Looks like another poor trait has followed him to our club.

One thing that might be in our favour today is that Liverpool will be under pressure to beat an injury hit side at home.

reference these quotes about European football.  I am assuming he knows something we don't.  That the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Winners will qualify for a European berth next season.
