If he starts Heskey then the wireless is being switched off.
Im not sure he'll have a choice

Of course he has a choice. He can go with two wide men (Albrighton and Carruthers for example) and go three in the middle of the park with Gabby up front playing the lone striker which arguably is what he's best at.

He tried Heskey on his own up front at Arsenal and it failed miserably. He hardly got a kick.

I'm thinking of avoiding this game today. I can't bear the stress. I might just switch on this evening to see what the score was.

That's what I'm doing. Taking Fred out for the day.

Albrighton is injured by all accounts

Albrighton hasn't travelled with the squad.

I am avoiding the game by going to an outdoor rave from 12pm until 1am. By that time I will be so mullered I won't care what the score was.

Heard we've only sold 300 tickets for this, anyone know if thats true?
Can see us getting hammered here. Were spineless against "bigger" teams, and with the injuries we have and by other games we've played I'm not expecting miracles, got a feeling its going to be set out for damaged limitation

Because McLeish shot an albatross, apparently.

isnt that how we have been set out all season, damage limitation?why should today be any different?cant see where a goal is coming from for us at all unless gabby steps up to the mark.its going to be tough to get any sort of respectable result out of this.all we can hope for is that the depleted squad, full of youngsters gives a good account of themselves and fights for the club.we all know that we are in the shit and we may well get relegated.it will be a shame if we do go down, but then maybe the board of wankers, sorry, directors will see what we have seen even before the season started-that they made a bad decision in ignoring the fans when they appointed mcuseless and an even worse decision not sacking him quite a few games ago.the bloke has never once said it is because of his lack of tactical awareness and bad man management is the reason that we are in this position.you only have to look at most of his team setups to see that he is clueless.he just blames the players all the time.its all bollocks!as for faulkner saying that we should be fighting for a european spot, well,he can just go and get f..ked.it was his decision, along with lerner that got us into this mess.they appointed the clown, they can get rid of him and hopefully follow him out of the door soon after.WE WANT OUR VILLA BACK!!!
