Liverpool are in poor form, they're in the same kind of meltdown that Villa are going through, they are racked with inconsistency, players are snapping, the money that Dalgliesh has spent looks wasted, I think we are at a defining moment, more so than I've seen Villa at for a generation, looking at the fixtures coming up I think we can win this and we really need to win this because games are running out.

The Blackburn game tonight is crucial to us, we really need Manure to hammer them.

Liverpool look crap to me, I think we can win this.

2-1 to Villa.....

Hate to make a case for the Bindipping thieves but their performances have been OK, the results have been utterly shite - reminds me of us in the dying throes of BFR era, underachiverers and favourites being picked regardless of form.
Our performances have been way below what we can achieve (odd few minutes here and there) and the results have mirrored that.
See a comfortable 3-1 for them to get them - just based on the way I expect our manager will approach it.

If Wigwam can go there and get a result, then so can we.

Wigan have been playing great stuff in the last few weeks. Even before their two wins, they could have scored 5 each against Norwich and Albion.

Liverpool create chances and with our defending I think they'll score 3 very soft goals to nil.

Another GIANT. I know Liverpool are shit but no doubt Alex will be pleased with a 2-0 after all that is not a disgrace at Anfield.

Struggling to get a win?
Your over priced star striker not scored since black and white telly?
Need an easy Cup tie passage?
Makeshift defence need a clean sheet?
Your goalkeeper suspend and his understudy in need of an easy ride?
Not scored from a corner for a while?

Need a shot shy, toothless, tactically inept, lacklustre team with a shoddy formation and players playing way out of position?

Please organise fixtures with A McLeish, Birmingham B6.

An sadly easy Liverpool victory, just as King Kenny (whaaaaaaaaaaanker) requires.

Balls to it.  A hard-fought 2-1 away win.  They've nothing to motivate them in the league and will have one eye on Wembley next week.

Besides, they're shit.

If the season started on 1 jan, both teams would be bottom 3. Can't see us getting anything out of this because I can't really see us scoring.

Given - Hutton, Collins, cuellar, lichaj - ireland, herd, gardner - albrighton, gabby, heskey

My god that teams shit!

This is the game that Liverpool need at the moment to get them going again and we will just roll over and let them... no contest an easy win for Liverpool!

Ok anybody know if any of the kids we've had on our bench recently is a pacey winger? If so i'd be tempted to throw them in and go 4-3-3 with him and Marc on the wings, Gabby up top and a midfield 3 of Herd, Gardner and Ireland.

We'll match them for half an hour and then get a dodgy sending off/penalty against and lose 3-4 nil. Then the media will conveniently forget about the dodgy refereeing decisions.

I was thinking about a similar line up earlier, although i'd go for Bannan instead of Gardner.

As for pacey wingers, there's Carruthers but i'm not sure he's ready yet and Daniel Johnson. It might be being a bit too much to ask to throw one of those in at Anfield, so Heskey it is then.
