According to MOTD they have a worse record in 2012 than us, why can't we go there and play them off the park?

Because we Have a manager called McLeish when was the last time any of his teams played anyone off the park?

They're shit at the moment. We should give them a good game and have the chance to get at least a point. Unless they are still an elite club in eighth place, of course and we attempt to role up the drawbridge as per.

I can see it now..

McLeish on BBC WM, "Well, when you spend that much money in the summer you expect to beat the likes of Aston Villa. I had to field an inexperienced eleven, we have to be realistic."

Not confident at all, can't see them losing 4 in a row even we're not that shit.

3 - 1 loss.

The manager will bottle it once more which will result in the inevitable.

I really would like to win this one.
So, just for a rare moment this season, can fate not shit in our Bovril please?

I dont care how it happens: If the ball deflects off a Heron, or a freak tornado carries the ball home or even more unlikely - if Heskey scores the winner, as long as it happens.

Defensively we are poor and have no protection from midfield.
We are now leaking goals and have conceded 7 goals in 2 games.

3 - 0 to the racists.

When a team is low on confidence and form, as they are right now, then they must be delighted to see us next up.  If they score early we'll get a thumping, but the longer we can keep them out the more the crowd will get on their backs.

0-0 or 3-0 to them.

They're playing better than results suggest but are obviously struggling... if we go there with a positive approach, we could get something out of this. Us scoring the first goal would make things very interesting.

Definitely not a game to wait until the hour mark to get moving.

for the first 20 minutes yesterday they were far better than Newcastle.  Newcastle score due to some poor defending and they fall apart.  If we show some spirit like we did Saturday we might get something.
