Makoun would have been very useful over the last 3 months or so. I just don't get that when January came, and Jenas was done for the season, we did not go out and get an extra midfield body to see us through on loan.

I think we're going to have to hope some of our injured get back:

Petrov, Dunne, Bent and Delph are out for the season.  As is Jenas.

I don't think we can recall Makoun even if he was fit.

So we're looking at N'Zogbia, Cuellar, Clark, Hutton (although Lichaj should keep his place) to get back into action.

We're really fucked if we get one or two more injuries.

In all seriousness is it worth sticking Hutton in at left back and moving Warnock into the middle of the park. Best I have ever seen him play was there at VP for Blackburn.

Makoun is fit isn't he? He's played 8 games in the last 6 weeks.

Again not the worst shout in the world, we can't be much worse. I really wish Makoun was here now.

Robbie Savage. Not long retired, and if we went down we could blame him

Warnock in midfield is a good shout!

Lichaj can play at left back too - I think he does for the USA.  And Stevens and Baker can play left back too.

gotta do something. Chelsea are hardly a Dogs of war side. I can see us getting mullured in midfield by the more physical sides

Gary Mac to return as player manager.

Two birds, one stone.

Makoun is at Olympiacos, fit and playing. Looked very good in a recent Euro game I saw.

I can't understand why we sent him there in the first place. Better than Jenas, who was always going to be off to the treatment room like a rat up a drainpipe.

I wouldn't mind that CB who plays for Olympiakos back here either. Too late, of course.

bottom of the barrel stuff with Warnock in midfield. Stevens hasnt played a first team game yet and Baker isnt remotely good enough.
