Some people's expectations of this rookie side really are bizarre.

Wow, if you play for Chelsea catching the ball is clearly now allowed. Dropping it for a volley is then obviously a must.

Both Gardner and Bannan should be central, or at least, in Bannan's case, not treated as a winger. He doesn't have the pace to skin a full back down the flank, sometimes the short ball isn't on so he tries the Hollywood, which isn't working. Gardner is wasted out there, and we're being overrun centrally.

Ah bollocks.
