The problem is that online supporters are a tiny proportion of the support as a whole, and the vast majority of people will have no idea this is supposed to happen.

That's why we need people to be vocal on the way in. If you shout it loudly in your section before kick off or before you go in the ground, people will know and join in.

That and twitter is a very powerful medium, thousands of people already know.

Has you are most likely where stan petrov has been diagnosed with leukaemia on the 19th minute of tomorrows game Villa fans are planing a minutes applause and we  hope any Chelsea fan attending the game would join in.

I was going to suggest we applauded continuously from kick off until 19th minute but on reflection it's probably not practical.
