These are the games that I hate under McLeish.

It's not that we'll probably lose (although I believe we have the best league record of any PL club at the Emirates ... if not the best, one of the best), I can put up with that.

It is the horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that he's going to send us out set up to play for a draw, and then, when they score, keep the score down. In other words, exactly the thing he did at Blues, and the same thing he's done for us a few times too often.

I genuinely would rather just award them the points now than go out with no intention whatsoever of trying to win the game.

Agree, because if we don't go out and show some metal we look complete tossers and IMO players like Given and Gabby maybe one or two others simply don't deserve that.

I think we could surprise people, for 2 reasons.
1 I think the Weiman goal was our Stoke moment in reverse
2 I dont think Arsenal are good enough to win 6 on the bounce

They've won their last 6 Premier League games.

ok make it 7

YES! I like it sir! Dunno how many brewskies you've knocked back to be so confident, but to hell with it!
0-2 Gabby, Gardner.

Righteous.

3-1 Villa, and I'll drink in Wenger's indignation at the result.

It's a cheeky little Pinot grigio from ...god, just trying to decipher the label.  Very small print.
Tesco's and 11.5%.  Does that help?

Either way, Villa are going to totally, like own, Arsenal tomorrow.   Oh yeah.  By several goals.

Well, at least one!

Well, the red wine is flowing nicely and I still can't see anything better than a draw. If we're lucky.

So do I!
*opens another bottle*

Resigns oneself to a saturday of switching between Sky sports News at home, Talk Sport in the car, and nipping into betting shops on the high street between bouts of shopping, to keep abreast of Villa.
