So on a match thread he is beyond criticism?

No offence, Ozzjim but you do appear to relish the opportunity to give Gabby a bashing.

Anyone else feel like they're watching the first half of the Blackburn game again?

Exactly.

It is very similar isn't it. Only we scored! Better service and more in the box when the wide men have the ball would be good. Need a late run from a midfielder to give the wide players an option

Ah, at last something we can agree on. *winky*

It just becomes a bit tiresome every bloody week.

We have to find a way to playing to his strength then, rather than tossing it in the box.

I was just going to say Hutton has improved a lot recently.

He frustrates me I will openly admit, he has the ability.

Cuellar and Collins seem a lot calmer than Dunne and Collins do too in fairness, which may be helping Hutton.

Yeah agreed Cuellar has added something to our back line.

I said during GH's time that I wanted to see green shoots of progress. We all thought we caught a glimpse during the Arsenal game but we were wrong. The last two weeks first half displays have been very positive, but we need to capitilize. We have a good team if only we believed more.

We have to find a way to playing to his strength then, rather than tossing it in the box.

It would help Gabby if the 'other' winger tried and attack the far post more often, plus Ireland also needs to try and get into the danger area.  As it is, Gabby often has three defenders around him.  An extra body in there would at least give them someone else to think about.

That's not a criticism of today's Ireland, I think he has been superb, arguably tracking back too much if anything.  He's everywhere.

The worry is, it is half time and we have played well first half without scoring. Will we manage to play well for 90 minutes?

Completely agree, our big strength last season was Albrighton and Downing coming in at the far stick.
